Capcom has uploaded a trailer for its Street Fighter 6 closed beta. However, the majority of the video does not have much to do with the game. You can watch the trailer here:

Available characters are Luke, Jamie, Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile, Kimberly, Juri, and Ken. There will also be Character Creation, but you can only create one. When you first open the game, you can customize your Battle Hub avatar. The only participation requirement is that you have a Capcom ID linked with an account on your PS5, Xbox Series X, or Windows PC.

Players without a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription will still be able to access online features for the Street Fighter 6 closed beta. Once the game goes live, however, you will need an account if you want to play online. Participants in the closed beta will also get a special bonus gift after the game comes out.

Since this is a closed beta, there may be some issues during test sessions. The version that players will play will be one that is still in development. After finishing the beta test, participants will fill in a survey. It will not be mandatory to fill out, though Capcom urges everyone to do so to best understand what changes they will need to implement.

Street Fighter 6 will come out on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC in 2023. The closed beta will not be available for PS4 players.
