Yakuza Cabaret Minigame to Return in Like a Dragon Gaiden

RGG Studio confirmed that the Yakuza cabaret minigame will return in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. This is in response to tweet that RGG Studio in Japan made several days ago. Women over twenty years old in Japan will be able to audition for a role as a cabaret worker in Like a Dragon Gaiden, as well as a role in Like a Dragon 8.

Hopeful cabaret workers will have until December 23, 2022 to submit their pictures to RGG Studio. You will need to take two photographs – one from the chest-up and one of the whole body – in lightly-dressed clothing. You will not need to have any real-life experience working in cabarets. The winner of the grand prize will not only be allowed to appear in both games, but they will also be able to get a million JPY in prize money. They will also get a complementary copy of Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.

The cabaret minigame, or hostess club, has been a staple for most of the Like a Dragon/Yakuza series. You can spend money to talk to women who work at cabaret clubs and raise their relationship values. You can also give them gifts. As you get to know the girls better, you can play through their substories, as well as go on dates with them outside of the club.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is in development and will come out in 2023. It will appear on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC.
