People might be wondering how to evolve Finizen into Palafin in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, as it uses an unusual method. You can’t just get the new character upon leveling up. Instead, you need to get together in a multiplayer session to trigger the Finizen evolution.

It’s pretty easy to find Finizen! I encountered mine in the water off of Levincia, where the electric-type gym is. Though I also saw some around Porto Marinada in the ocean. You can also encounter Finizen in three-star Tera Raids.
How to Evolve Finizen into Palafin in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
The whole evolution gimmick with Finizen is that Palafin can change form into a Hero form to aid allies. To tie into that, you can’t evolve Finizen into Palafin unless you join a Union Circle with other players. If you do, then as long as one other person is around, Finizen can evolve at or after level 38.
You can also catch Palafin in Tera Raids, in case you can’t get someone to join you in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The character can show up in five-star ones.
