A new Persona 5 Royal figure by Megahouse will highlight the revamped character design of a famed Shin Megami Tensei demon. Megahouse announced that its Persona 5 Royal Loki figure is in development and showed off photos of a production prototype.
The Persona 5 Royal Loki figure is part of Megahouse’s Game Characters Collection DX line. It was originally announced in concept art form back in 2022. Since then, though, the image of the actual prototype has aligned more with the Persona Loki’s appearance and pose from the in-game compendium. Megahouse uploaded a video teaser for the figure on Saturday. The figure itself will stand at about 250mm tall (about 9.8 inches) and cost about 31,900 Yen (about $235 USD).

The Persona 5 Royal Loki figure replicates the appearance of Loki, who manifests as Goro Akechi’s Persona in Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal. Loki’s angular body is covered in black and white stripes in a “dazzle” pattern. Similar to its usage in 20th-century naval warfare, the dazzle pattern disrupts Loki’s outline, making his facing or features discern see at first glance. Loki also has long braided hair, and perches atop a flaming longsword. Unlike in the game, Loki’s red teeth and grin is more readily visible, as is the gold cord that mimics elements of Goro’s Phantom Thief costume.
The Persona 5 Loki figure by Megahouse is in development, with an expected release date in January 2024. Persona 5 Royal is available on PS4, PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
