Final Fantasy XVI Pre-order Bonuses Include Steelbook, Patches, and a Gift Card

Now that the Final Fantasy XVI release date is drawing nearer, various pre-order bonuses are showing up. Three retailers announced the items they’ll offer. If you go to Best Buy, GameStop, or Target, you could get extra items. This is in addition to the already-announced DLC that comes as a pre-order bonus with all editions of the game. The pre-order Final Fantasy XVI bonus at Best Buy is a Steelbook case. It features a monochrome cover with Clive Rosfield’s face and the Roman numeral XVI superimposed over it.

At GameStop, people get a set of six The Realms of Valisthea patches. Each one looks like one of the flags of the nations in the game. These are a “while supplies last” item, and people get them when they get their game. In the image below, the Grand Duchy of Rosaria, Holy Empire of Sanbreque, and Kingdom of Waloed appear in the upper row. The second row features the The Dhalmekian Republic, Iron Kingdom, and Crystalline Dominion patches.

Finally, Target’s pre-order bonus involves a $10 gift card for the store.

As for the common pre-order bonuses, there are two for Final Fantasy XVI. One is a Cait Sith Charm, which makes the party earn more gil. People also get a Braveheart sword for Clive to wield.
