Blue Protocol Network Test to Go Live Soon

Bandai Namco revealed what will be available when the network test for Blue Protocol goes live in Japan on March 31, 2023. Players will be able to experience the early parts of the story, as well as raise their character to level 20. [Thanks, Gamer!]

Only Chapter 1 will be in the Blue Protocol network test, with certain side quests being adjusted specifically for this test. You’ll only be able to raise your character level to 20, as mentioned earlier, and the maximum adventurer rank you can have will be 4. Only four map locations will be accessible.

Players will also get the opportunity to try out the Heavy Smasher class. Heavy Smasher will be a close-to-mid-range fighter. Other classes include Twin Striker, Aegis Fighter, and Blast Archer. These classes are very similar to what you would imagine in an RPG. For example, Blast Archer specializes in supporting from a distance with arrows and magic.

During the network test on April 1-2, 2023, you’ll be able to receive some items in the mail. They seem to be various dyes for your character. You’ll also be able to transfer the character that you make from the benchmark program into the game. To do this, you export the character file from the benchmark folder and then import it once you’re in the game.

The Blue Protocol network test will take place from March 31, 2023 to April 2, 2023 in Japan. Blue Protocol is in development for the PS5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X. It will come out on the PC in Spring 2023 in Japan, and then it will appear in other regions and on other platforms later in the year.
