SD Shin Kamen Rider Rumble DLC Adds Evangelion, Godzilla, and Ultraman

Bandai Namco announced new DLC for SD Shin Kamen Rider Rumble featuring the main characters from the Shin Japan Heroes Universe (SJHU). This group consists of Ultraman, Godzilla, and the EVA-01 unit from Evangelion. Each character will be available as part of a season pass or individually, and that will include their own stage and in-game items.

This DLC reimagines the heroes of SJHU in the same art style as the main game. In addition, each hero will have their own DLC pack with the playable character, a themed stage, and a badge referencing their most memorable items. Each DLC Pack will cost ¥550 (approximately $4) individually or ¥1,650 ($12) as part of the Shin Japan Heroes Universe Season Pass.

SHJU is a collaborative project consisting of the Hideaki Anno-lead “Shin” movies for Ultraman, Godzilla, Kamen Rider, and Evangelion. The latter was originally released in Japan as Shin Evangelion, although it was localized worldwide as Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time.

SD Shin Kamen Rider Rumble will be available in Asia for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on April 27, 2023. After that, the Evangelion Pack content will be available on May 11, 2023, the Shin Ultraman Pack on May 25, 2023, and the Shin Godzilla Pack on June 8, 2023.
