For the first time in the event’s history, the 2023 Fan Festival will feature a video contest. Players are encouraged to submit videos that show off their preferred Job in the best possible light. The goal is to try and convince other players to switch to your choice. To enter, players must upload their short as an unlisted YouTube video.

The Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival art contest has the theme of Memories of Final Fantasy XIV. Submissions can be illustrations, unaltered screenshots, altered screenshots or handcrafted works.

The finalists of both contests will receive special in-game items. Winners will receive a Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker art book, mouse pad and an unannounced Community Fashion Accessory Item. Both contests are only open to legal residents of the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec) and entrants must be over 13. The closing date is May 31, 2023.

The Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival events will also host the Glamoured to Life cosplay stage. Anyone wishing to participate can submit their entry from now until June 30, 2023. Full details can also be found on the Fan Festival website.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for PC, PS4 and PS5. The Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival will take place in Las Vegas on July 28-29, 2023.
