The trailer sees series protagonist Kazuma Kiryu being roped back into the Yakuza lifestyle by a mysterious figure. However, he’ll be taking a new identity when he appears in this installment. Gameplay featured Kiryu facing off against hordes of enemies in the series’ traditional brawling gameplay, looking a lot flashier this time. Interestingly, Kiryu is now capable of grabbing multiple enemies at once and picking up items from a distance.

Here’s the newest trailer:

A pre-order bonus for the game will feature a Legendary Fighter Pack containing Goro Majima, Taiga Saejima and Daigo Dojima from previous titles.

Like a Dragon Gaiden was previously announced in September 2022 as part of the RGG Summit. It’s a spin-off of the Like a Dragon franchise that brings Kiryu back into the fold.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name will release on November 9, 2023. It will appear on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
