Avowed Gameplay Trailer Revealed at Xbox Showcase

Microsoft and Obsidian revealed the first gameplay for Avowed at the Xbox Showcase 2023. The new trailer showed off a variety of gameplay mechanics and scenes. They also revealed a release window of 2024.

The premise of Avowed was revealed through the narration of the trailer. You have been sent by an emperor to investigate a land infected by a mysterious plague. Based on the gameplay shown, you’ll get to fight off various beasts using a sword, magic powers and some dual pistols.

Avowed was first revealed at Xbox’s July 2020 Showcase, but this is the first we’ve seen of the game in depth.

Avowed will release for Xbox Series X and PC via Steam in 2024. It will be available via Xbox Game Pass.
