Next Tekken 8 Characters Are Azucena and Raven

At Evo 2023, Bandai Namco revealed Azucena and Raven are the next Tekken 8 characters joining the game’s cast. New trailer showed up for each fighter. While Raven first debuted in Tekken 5, Azucena is an entirely new character.

First, here’s the Tekken 8 Azucena trailer. It notes that she’s from Peru. She refers to herself as the “coffee queen.”

Next, here’s the Tekken 8 Raven character trailer. He showed up in Tekken 5 and 6, as well as the spin-offs Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Street Fighter x Tekken.

He had some idea that both Azucena and Raven would be showing up in Tekken 8. Ahead of their Evo reveal, both of them were accidentally revealed early. Bandai Namco’s European branch showed both of them on the official website on August 4, 2023, though these were quickly pulled.
