How to Get Modern Warfare 3 Double XP Codes

Nothing goes hand-in-hand with the launch of a new Call of Duty game than some random food and drink promotions. The latest Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 promotions includes double XP codes from the likes of Monster Energy and more, and here’s a list of ones to keep in mind.

How to get Call of Duty: MW3 Double XP codes from Monster Energy and more

If you don’t mind spending a few dollars at the grocery store, one of the easiest ways to get double XP codes in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is to purchase various items. Activision partnered with a few different retail companies to offer double experience codes in exchange for your purchases. Unfortunately, this is one of the first times in a long time when there is no Mountain Dew promotion this time around. Instead, the offer involves with Monster Energy

Here are all of the companies you can buy and get MW3 double XP codes from:

  • Burger King: One hour Double XP with both a first or second order. You can also get a Calling Card and Emblem with the first order, then a Burger Town Operator skin for the second. (This offer is also at some Hungry Jack’s.) Note that it is not available in every region.
  • Doritos: XP codes range from 15 minutes to 90 minutes, depending on which bag you purchase.
  • Little Caesars: One or two hours of Double XP, as well as a Calling Card, Emblem, Operator Skin, and Weapon Charm. Note it is not available in every region.
  • Monster Energy: 15 minutes for each bottle or can, plus some skins are available.

Those are the only official partners who can get you double XP codes for your purchases.

Once you redeem the codes to your Activision account, they will appear in the game. While in the lobby, press down on the left thumbstick (on controller) and you will see all of your available codes. You can then redeem them. Be sure to play quickly as the time runs out even when you are just sitting in the menus.

How to unlock Double XP for free

Now, I get that some players may not want to go out and buy junk food or spend unnecessary amounts of money. That is totally fair. There are other ways to get double XP for free, and that is without having to wait for a special event weekend. For instance, some weapons are marked in this game with a fire symbol. This indicates you’ll double weapon XP for them.

In addition, if you progress through the current seasonal battle pass, some of the sectors offer double XP rewards. Simply target those sectors and go after them to get the free double XP. The best part is they usually don’t require you to own the premium version of the battle pass, either.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
