A Few More Details On Deus Ex: Human Revolution’s “Missing Link” DLC

Eidos Montreal have given away a few more details regarding the Deus Ex: Human Revolution “Missing Link” downloadable episode that’s slated for release in October on their blog. As reported earlier, the DLC will see Adam on board a freighter, being tortured, and headed to an unknown destination.

The man with the southern accent in the DLC’s teaser trailer, Eidos say, is Pieter Burke, a high-ranking operative in Belltower Associates, the private security company in the game. They’re the ones torturing Adam in the trailer.

Eidos say that Missing Link will be playable from any point in the game, even though it’s tied to the main story. You’ll be able to access it from the main menu. The episode takes place in two large “compounds” as opposed to a hub like Detroit or Hengsha. Most of the abilities Adam has will be from the main game.

Pricing for the DLC episode hasn’t yet been announced, but Eidos have said that it will come with 250 achievement points for the Xbox 360 and 10 trophies for PlayStation 3.
