A Minecraft Movie Japanese Dub Voice Actors Revealed

Warner Bros Japan revealed the list of voice actors for the Japanese dub of A Minecraft Movie, which will appear in the country’s theaters on April 25, 2025. The cast list features not only veteran voice actors and renowned live actors but also famous YouTubers and Vtubers who are active in the Japanese Minecraft community.

The cast for the main characters will mostly feature professional voice actors, such as Hiroki Yasumoto as Garrett, Koichi Yamadera as Steve, Ayumu Murase as Henry, and Kimiko Saito as Dawn. As for Natalie’s dub voiceover, however, Warner Bros opts to employ the live actress and model Meru “Meruru” Nukumi.

The Japanese dub cast notably features celebrities, YouTubers, and Vtubers who are also known as Minecraft fans. The multi-talent celebrity Eiko Kano will provide the dub for Chungus, and the YouTubers HIKAKIN and SEIKIN will voice Nitwit and the Waiter, respectively.

In the announcement post, Warner Bros added that it specifically picked Vtubers from Dozle Corp, Nichijogumi, and Colorful Peach. These groups frequently publish Minecraft streams on their channels, which have each surpassed 2 million subscribers.

A Minecraft Movie will launch in Japanese theaters on Friday, April 25, 2025. The same movie just recently launched in the U.S. on April 4, 2025.
