5pb have a couple of DLC items for Bullet Soul in the works, detailed on the game’s blog. The first is a “Caravan mode” which appears to be a two-minute score attack mode set in a new stage. It will also add ten new achievements, and is slated for a summer release, tentatively at 400 Microsoft Points.

A screenshot of the mode shows twin versions of the Stage 2 boss challenging the player at the same time. This is called “Twin Mawaru,” according to 5pb.

Another screenshot mentions something about four huge parts on the screen, with a “Could it be…?!” type tease. I haven’t played Bullet Soul, unfortunately, so I’m not quite sure what they’re trying to hint at here.

Following it this fall will be a “Version B” mode with difficulty adjustments to the game, and a new ship to play as. The ship, like the rest of Bullet Soul’s characters, is designed by MOSAIC.WAV artist, Akio Watanabe. This, too, is tentatively priced at 400 Microsoft Points.

Closing out their DLC post, 5pb ask that everyone “Come get some desuu!”

A big thanks to Denpa no Sekai for the heads up!
