Last week, Xseed officially announced that they’re handling publishing duties for Solatorobo: Red the Hunter in the U.S. Earlier in the year, Nintendo announced they would be publishing the game in Europe, and Xseed’s localization will be based on their release when it hits the U.S this fall.

Nintendo of Europe have launched their full website for the CyberConnect2-developed Tail Concerto successor, with a bunch of info, trailers, music and concept art. If you’re having a hard time waiting, you might want to take a look.

Following is the concept art that’s currently on their website, illustrated by Nobuteru Yuki, who was character designer on Chrono Cross and Tail Concerto. Mecha designs for Solatorobo were provided by Yoshitake Taniguchi.

Solatorobo: Red the Hunter is slated for European release on July 1st. North America will see the game sometime this fall. Solatorobo is a DSi-enhanced game, so you’ll have access to additional features if you play it on a Nintendo DSi or 3DS.

Food for thought:

Never in the past few years did I expect to see anything like that last illustration associated with Nintendo in any manner. I couldn’t help but laugh when I saw it.
