Adrenalin Misfits Is Konami’s First Kinect Game

Recommended Videos

Konami’s first title built entirely around Kinect is a “boarding battle game.” We’d say snowboarding, but there also appear to be screenshots of water-boarding and sand-boarding across a dessert. Adrenalin Misfits controls as you would expect — using your body.

As you get further in the game, you’ll be able to battle against stronger bosses and steal their boards, which will grant you newer abilities. There are a total of 60 boards to connect. Like Mario Kart, there are also power-ups scattered across each course that grant temporary abilities.

One of the more amusing features we spotted was that your rider actually picks up speed if Kinect detects the voices of people cheering for you. You can play Adrenalin Junkies solo or with one other friend.
