Take A Look At Diablo III’s AI Assistants, Or “Followers” As Blizzard Calls Them

Hirelings — your AI-controlled partners — in Diablo III are known as “Followers”. Blizzard released a new trailer showing off the Follower classes in the game today. You’ll be able to enlist the aid of an Enchantress, Scoundrel or Templar.

Diablo III is currently undergoing internal beta-testing. An external beta is scheduled to kick off in the third quarter of this year. Blizzard say they hope to release the game in 2011, but have made no promises on that front.
