Ubisoft’s most popular Wii game Just Dance is coming to Japan with Nintendo as the publisher. Instead of slapping Japanese text on the menus, Nintendo is localizing Just Dance with Japanese music. "Happy Rotation" from AKB48 is one of the songs players can pick. Nintendo also licensed "Choo Choo Train" from EXILE, "Sexy Girl" from Namie Amuro, "One Night Carnival" from Kishidan, and "Love Revolution 21" from Morning Musume.
A few Korean pop artists who are also famous in Japan made it into the mix including "Jumpin" & "Mister" from KARA, "Valenti" from BoA, and "Why?" from Tohoshinki. The only Western song on the list is a cover of "Mickey" from a Japanese comedian.
It’s a fairly diverse list and a strong West to East localization effort from Nintendo. Just Dance comes out on October 13 in Japan.
