Anarchy Reigns May Not Make Its US And European Release Date

Anarchy Reigns is complete and on track for its Japanese release on July 5th, but Sega have changed the game’s North American and European release date to “TBC” (To be confirmed). The news comes via PlatinumGames’ development blog, where they write:

 

“Finally, we break the bad news about Anarchy Reigns US/EU release date – SEGA has decided to change the date to TBC. While our work on the game is finished, localized, and ready to go, as publisher, SEGA gets to make the final decision as to when it is released. The Japanese release date, however, remains unchanged for July 5, 2012.”

 

Recently, PlatinumGames revealed two new characters for Anarchy Reigns—Max and Douglas—who you can take a look at here. Above is the game’s Japanese launch trailer. We’ll keep an eye out for when Sega provide an update on the game’s western release.
