Animal Crossing for Nintendo 3DS is headed to Japan this November. In the new 3DS game, you’re responsible for the town you live in, acting as its mayor. This gives you control over the town’s growth and personality, and the game adds a number of new customization features as well.

Animal Crossing for 3DS is also headed to North America. The game will be released in the first half of 2013, Nintendo of America announced this afternoon via Twitter. It doesn’t have an official U.S. title yet.
