Animal Crossing: New Leaf Update Will Let You Take Pictures With Its “Amiibo Camera”

This fall, an update to Animal Crossing: New Leaf will see amiibo functionality added to the game, allowing players to scan both the figures and cards. In addition to that, another new feature will be added to the game, as was shared over on the Japanese Twitter account for Animal Crossing.

This feature, which Nintendo called the “amiibo camera,” will let players take photos, yet that is all the information that was revealed at this time. Nintendo will host an Animal Crossing Direct on November 2, where they’ll share more details about the upcoming free update.
