Anonymous Code has gone gold

Anonymous Code has gone gold and is primed to release in Japan in late July 2022. Mages’ Science Adventure series Twitter account posted a deciphered version of a cryptic message that it previously uploaded on June 10, 2022. The binary code in the previous tweet meant “It has gone gold.” The deciphered Japanese text in the image reads “After 7 years of development time, it is finally completed. Will you save the situation?”

In addition, Mages also uploaded a new video featuring Shoya Chiba, the Japanese voice actor of the protagonist Pollon. Chiba confirmed in the video that he had completed recording his voices for the title.

The first announcement for Anonymous Code appeared in 2015. The visual novel will utilize its game save data to determine its story branches in lieu of conversation responses. Mages had planned to release the game on the PS4, PS Vita, and Switch at one point. However, it canceled the PlayStation Vita version in 2020.
