Imageepoch have been getting around. Ever since the company released Luminous Arc for the DS, they’ve been working on a steady stream of projects for Marvelous Entertainment, SEGA, and most recently, Capcom. Fate/Extra, in collaboration with Marvelous and Type-Moon, in particular, is a rather high-profile project.

Now, a list of clients on the company’s website indicates that they’re also working with Nippon Ichi Software in some capacity. It may be worth keeping in mind that this is hot on the heels of a rumour regarding the presidents of NIS, Falcom and Acquire gathering for a meeting.

In their last financial report, Nippon Ichi primarily pointed to externally-developed titles to explain their losses, and mentioned an effort to reduce reliance on these to generate profits. The plan for 2010 is an increase in quality and a focus on the PlayStation 3. Imageepoch, however, are primarily a portable game developer, with Arc Rise Fantasia being their only non-portable game. Whatever it is they’re working on, NIS have faith in it.
