Are Level-5 Publishing The First Layton On 3DS?

How do you like the new 3DS screen layout? Say hello to Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle. We wouldn’t sweat the typos too much — this is just an early build. The interesting point of note here is that the assets for this game were in the third-party folder, not in Nintendo’s — despite the fact that the screens are in English and Nintendo of America publish the Layton games in the U.S.

This could mean Level-5 are taking this one on themselves. Oh, and it’s probably safe to assume Level-5’s time-travelling game was for 3DS after all, too. We’ll probably hear more about it as the year goes on.
