As previously reported, an Art Academy “game” is headed to the Wii U as a download title via the Nintendo eShop. Titled Art Academy Sketchpad, the application will allow you to create your own digital paintings, like its Nintendo 3DS counterpart.

The application will be available on August 9th in North America and will allow you to share your drawings via a Miiverse community that will launch after the game.
