It’s been more than a year since Ubisoft first announced that the movie adaptation of Assassin’s Creed would include Michael Fassbender among its cast. Today, however, Deadline are reporting that the film project now has a director attached to it as well.

According to the Deadline report (thanks, Coming Soon), director Justin Kurzel is in talks with Ubisoft and New Regency to direct the Assassin’s Creed film. Kurzel recently directed Michael Fassbender in the upcoming Macbeth movie.
