Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout just got a new free update called the “Very Easy Patch” that adds a new difficulty setting.
The Very Easy Patch comes as the fourth major free update for Atelier Ryza. Koei Tecmo and Gust released the new difficulty to allow players to thoroughly enjoy the story. Players can now access the Very Easy difficulty setting through the options menu. It essentially makes some of the tougher enemies easier to defeat. Furthermore, all enemies defeated in battle will reward players with more experience points and gold.
The previous free update was back in December 2019. It boosted the level caps for gathering location synthesis. It also allowed players to synthesize high-level locations for more challenging battles through Gathering Location Synthesis.

Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout is available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Back in April, the game reached 420,000 units in shipments and digital sales to make it the best-selling Atelier game of all time.
