Gust recently started a new character popularity poll for the Atelier series, and those who participate are greeted with a page showing the 40 characters from the poll and a little teaser.

Upon submitting a vote on the character popularity poll page, those who participate are greeted with a thank you message and the above image that features all the characters along with the message “A new development for the Atelier series on June 14, 2018!? To a “new land,” together with them.”

Considering the wording that says “together with them,” we’re guessing that it’ll be either a new party-style game featuring characters from the Atelier series, but it sounds like it’ll likely be some sort of smartphone game featuring a bunch of its characters as we’ve seen in the Tales of smartphone games.

Back in March it was mentioned that Gust will announce the next Atelier game in May or June, and producer Keisuke Kikuchi briefly mentioned that it will have a “festive feeling,” which is often used to describe games that feature a bunch of series characters such as Square Enix’s Fortune Street: Dragon Quest & Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary that was described in a similar manner.

In any case, we’ll find out what this is all about come June 14 when Gust will have something to share.
