Balan Wonderworld is a sort of platformer that is going to involve different levels, storylines, and characters that we help along the way. Square Enix is apparently going to tease what each of its storylines will involve, because a new video is here. While brief, this Balan Wonderworld trailer introduces a person who we’ll help in one of 12 stories.
The story of Jose is told without words and actually covers a significant period of time. He’s a farmer and, as we see from above, he’s tending fields of corn. It honestly looks like he’s preparing a corn maze shaped like an ear of corn for Halloween. (Maestro Balan makes a cameo appearance as a scarecrow in one scene.) Then, a tornado hits and seems like it would blow it all away. However, the clip doesn’t show what the level might look like.

Lots of little details have come out lately. We learned about the Chao Garden-like Isle of Tims. Details about next-gen systems’ features also showed up. The opening movie for the game already appeared too.
Balan Wonderworld will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on March 26, 2021.
