Sanrio and Baskin Robbins announced a Hinamatsuri sales event in Japan that involves ice cream in a hinadan stand box with Sanrio characters as hinakazari doll decorations. It will be available in stores starting on February 15, 2026, then run until the festival itself starts on March 3, 2026. It will cost 2,400円 (~$15.40).

This Sanrio characters Hinamatsuri set at Baskin Robbins doesn’t include any special ice cream flavors or merchandise. You choose any five flavors of ice cream for the “bases” for the Emperor Cinnamoroll, Empress Hello Kitty, and court ladies My Melody, Usahana, and Kuromi. At the bottom of the box and display are Pompompurin, Tuxedosam, Pochacco, Keroppi, and Hangyodan as decorative court musicians.

Here’s another photo highlighting how the full display will look. The Pompompurin, Tuxedosam, Pochacco, Keroppi, and Hangyodan decorations are tabs built into the box that pop out when displayed, while the Cinnamoroll, Hello Kitty, My Melody, Usahana, and Kuromi decorations are actually placed on top of the ice cream.

Baskin Robbins frequently offers these sorts of promotions in Japan with different series and companies. Ones based on the Super Mario series happen regularly. So do ones tied to different Pokemon characters. However, it’s a bit more rare to see ones appear worldwide.

The Hinamatsuri Sanrio characters Baskin Robbins set will be available in Japan between February 15, 2026 and March 3, 2026.
