Best Dragon’s Dogma 2 Mods: Fluffy Mod Manager

The Fluffy Mod Manager is a must-have for someone looking to balance many different mods. This simple program keeps track of all your mods and lets you turn them on and off with ease. This is a necessity, especially if you plan to have many different mods that could possibly break your experience.

Save Manager

This program lets you keep track of many different saves, making them active when you wish to play as a certain character. Given how Dragon’s Dogma 2 only allows you to keep one save file at a time, this is a must for switching between characters. Perhaps you want to start as a Fighter on one save and a Mage on another. This gives you the freedom to finally do that.

Crazy’s Shop and 1 Gold Items

One of the more controversial parts about this game is how some items, such as the Wakestone, can be purchased with microtransaction currency. Sure, you can earn and buy these items in-game without spending real cash, but it can be limited and challenging to do so. The Crazy’s Shop mod adds 255 of each item to the shops in Vernworth to make it easier to buy stuff like Ferrystones and Beetles. The shop supply also comes back after one in-game day.

But it doesn’t stop here. I recommend pairing this shop mod with the one gold items mod as well. This mod tweaks items to only cost one gold, so you can buy an almost limitless supply of necessary items for next to nothing.

No Job Requirements for Weapons

One limiting factor of this game is how each vocation uses different weapon types. For instance, the Fighter uses swords, maces, and shields. But maybe you want to be able to use a hammer you really like on your Fighter or other vocation. This mod comes in and removes the vocation requirements for weapons, so you can use whatever you like on any class.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is available right now for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
