You Can Fly And Find Pokémon In The Sky In Pokémon Omega Ruby And Alpha Sapphire

This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

The latest issue of Japan’s CoroCoro Comics magazine has revealed more information on Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. (Thanks, Serebii.net)   Among the highlights is the reveal of Mega Evolutions for Latios and Latias, as well as Mega Evolutions for Pidgeot and Beedrill. Latios will be exclusive to Omega Ruby while Latias is exclusive to Alpha Sapphire.   You will be able to fly on both Pokémon in the games’ overworld, and in the sky, you will encounter legendaries such as Reshiram, Zekrom, Dialga and Palkia. Legendary Pokémon are found on islands that can only be found through areas in the sky.   Details on just how flying works are scarce. It is unknown at this point if the entire overworld will be accessible while flying, or if it will be limited to certain areas. You will also encounter normal Pokémon in the clouds over Hoenn. The sky can be accessed through the Eon Flute item.
