Castle of Illusion Remake Confirmed With A New Trailer And Screens [Update]

Original story: An HD version of Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse is in development at Sega Studios Australia, Sega have confirmed via the PlayStation Blog. The game is described as being a 2D/3D re-imagined experience, and you can watch a trailer for it below:

 

 

Thus far, Castle of Illusion has only been officially announced for the PS3, but we would assume versions for other platforms are in the works as well, judging by ratings leaks earlier in the year. Sega Australia say they’re working closely with the original game’s director, who is now employed at Disney Interactive.
