Bandai Offering Char ‘The Red Comet’ Aznable Insignia Merchandise

Premium Bandai has released a series of merchandise inspired heavily by Char Aznable of Mobile Suit Gundam. Merchandise from duvet covers to floor mats are all a deep red and bear Char’s insignia, along with his name in large font. In addition, his title “The Red Comet” appears below his name. It makes for a rather unsubtle way to show one’s love for the character. Pre-orders for the items are open from June 4 until 21, 2021. They will ship out in September 2021. There are other pieces of Mobile Suit Gundam merchandise available on Premium Bandai, such as boxers and t-shirts inspired by three iconic mobile suits from the show. They are the titular RX-78-2 Gundam, Char’s signature red Zaku II Commander Type, and a normal green Zaku II. Mobile Suit Gundam currently has a compilation video titled Mobile Suit: Shining Life Chronicle UC on YouTube, though it is only available in Japan. In addition, Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway will release in Japanese theaters on June 11, 2021. The Char Aznable insignia series of Premium Bandai Mobile Suit Gundam merchandise is available for pre-order until June 21, 2021. They will ship out worldwide in September 2021.
