You can view the entire set on this page, but we’ve highlighted some of the ones that caught our eye below. Included beneath each piece are the name of the artist, time taken for the piece, and other comments from the studio.

By: Koda Title: “Cargo Ship” Comment: Speed painting – 2 hours 30 minutes. Check out this ship with the Platinum logo on it! This art makes me imagine that our company’s office is actually a giant starship exploring alien worlds with Mr. Minami at the helm.

 

By: Kan Title: “Uma (Horse)” Comment: A carriage horse is riding in a rickshaw drawn by a man. This horse is getting the royal treatment in this image commemorating 2014, the year of the horse! I just love the character in this piece.

 

By: Nishii Title: “Stay!” Comment: “Three… two… wan.” [Note: “wan” is the sound a dog makes in Japanese.] Here’s another dog with a “one”-related pun! This kind of joke was prevalent in the office with the release of The Wonderful 101.
