Production I.G.’s next Ghost in the Shell movie is scheduled to premiere in Japan on June 20th, and today, it received a teaser trailer that goes over footage from the past films and also shows off a bit of footage from the new one as well.

 

The new Ghost in the Shell movie is being directed by Kazuya Nomura, the director of the Robotics;Notes anime, based on a screenplay by Tow Ubukata (Ghost in the Shell: Arise). It appears to be a follow-up to the Ghost in the Shell: Arise films.

 

Prior to the new film, the four Ghost in the Shell: Arise OVAs will be broadcast on Japanese television with additional footage, starting April 5th.
