Chiikawa Characters Dress as Sanrio Characters This December

Gray Parka Service has revealed a new collection of merchandise that will feature a crossover between Chiikawa and Sanrio Characters. These items will appear in stores across Japan around mid-December 2025.

The highlights of this crossover will be the six Kiramekko plushies. These will have the Chiikawa characters wear full-body costumes themed after Sanrio mascots. The plushies will be available at ¥2,420 (~$15.60) apiece.

Here is the complete list of character pairings in this lineup:

  1. Chiikawa with My Melody
  2. Hachiware with Hello Kitty
  3. Usagi with Pompompurin
  4. Momonga with Kuromi
  5. Kurimanju with Hangyodon
  6. Furuhonya with Cinnamoroll
  7. Shisa with Pochacco (not available as a plushie)

And these are all the merchandise that will be part of the collection, along with their prices in Japanese yen:

  • Snack pouch (Muchauma original snacks or fruity gummies) – ¥1,980 each
  • Shopping tote bag – ¥3,300
  • Badge – ¥330 for a random item or ¥1,980 for a box of 6
  • Shakeable candy keychain – ¥880
  • Mobile device beads strap – ¥1,650
  • Zipper bags designed after snack pouches – ¥660 for a set of 5
  • Patapata Fusen (Fluttering sticky note) – ¥550
  • Boxed Flake Seal – ¥660
  • Clear file – ¥385
  • Smartphone-sized sticker – ¥330
  • Point card – ¥330 for a random item or ¥1,980 for a box of 6
  • Kiramekko plush – ¥2,420

Chiikawa is in the ever-growing list of franchises that have crossover merchandise with Sanrio Characters. The list has also included Cardcaptor Sakura, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Sesame Street.

The Chiikawa – Sanrio Characters crossover merchandise will be available in Japan on December 12, 2025.
