Choose A Crime: Murder, Prison Escape or Something Else

On The Lam: Fugitive Simulator has players find out what it’s like to be on the run from the law. Made by Skaldic Games, the goal of the mobile game is to escape the U.S. after committing a horrible crime.

Players will get to choose just which crime they want commit. There are three options: murder, prison escape, and terrorist attack.

After that, players get to choose what special thing they want to start with, whether it be money, a car, street smarts, or something else. Players will also be able to allocate stat points to endurance, dexterity, or perception – choosing which ones to boost could help out later in the game.

The game then begins right after the crime is committed. From there, there are a number of different options to choose from, like hijacking a car, breaking into a house and steal goods, or even using the bathroom.

On The Lam uses in-game time to keep track of events. For example, if a player steals a car late at night, it more likely to go unnoticed. Likewise, if a player shoots someone in broad daylight, it won’t go well.

Weather also has an impact on events. A warm, sunny day might warrant a clothes change if the day before for cold. The weather is determined by location, as in it will be warmer in a desert than in a forest, or by the time of day.

On The Lam is a text-based game, meaning it relies almost solely on words to convey what is happening. However, there is a map that shows the location of the player’s character, making it easier to tell how much further until the the character is out of the country.

On The Lam: Fugitive Simulator is currently available for iOS and PC.
