Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller Season Pass Is A Discount For The Full Game

Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller is an upcoming point-and-click adventure game for PC, by Phoenix Online Studios, developers of The Silver Lining. The game has you playing as Erica Reed, an FBI agent investigating the case of a serial killer who murdered her brother.

Erica has the ability to see an object’s past by touching it, and Cognition has multiple ways to solve puzzles, as well as branching story paths. The game’s characters are voiced and its story is being overseen by Gabriel Knight creator, Jane Jensen, who is acting as story consultant on the project.

This afternoon, Phoenix Online and Reverb, the publisher of Cognition, announced a season pass for the game. Cognition will be released as four different episodes, and while buying each one individually will add up to $40, the Season Pass allows you to pre-order the entire game for $25.

The Season Pass will also net you a digital copy of a prequel comic and the full soundtrack for the first episode, “The Hangman”. In the event that you don’t pre-order, you can still buy a Season Pass for the game on launch day, which will get you the full game and prequel comic for $30.

You can pre-order the Cognition: An Erica Reed thriller Season Pass at GameStop, GamersGate or Rain.  The game is also up for vote on the Steam Greenlight program.
