Following rumours that The Last Guardian’s creative lead, Fumito Ueda, had left Sony Computer Entertainment, Gamasutra have managed to confirm that this indeed the case.
Sony confirmed Ueda’s departure to Gamasutra via a statement earlier today, but reiterated that he is committed to completing development of The Last Guardian for PlayStation 3. Or rather, as Sony revealed to IGN last week, Ueda is under contract to complete the game.
