Atlus USA have picked the publishing rights to another popular license—Sherlock Holmes. Or at least one game based on him, for the time being. This September, they’ll be publishing The Testament of Sherlock Holmes on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in North America.

Developed by Frogwares, The Testament of Sherlock Holmes sees Holmes as the suspect of a forgery. After returning a missing set of priceless jewels to their owner, Holmes is accused of returning fakes instead of the originals. Doubted both by Watson and Scotland Yard, he needs to figure out how to clear his name.

You can watch a debut trailer for The Testament of Sherlock Holmes above and find screenshots below. Atlus say that the game’s characters have been motion-captured to make it look convincing.
