Remember the Nintendo 3DS game that Ghostlight were teasing? They said it wasn’t an RPG, and described it as something different from what their audience might be used to. Many assumed it was a European release for Code of Princess, which is being published in North America by Atlus USA.

It turns out that isn’t what Ghostlight’s 3DS game is at all. This morning, Ghostlight announced that they’re releasing Runabout 3D: Drive Impossible, published in Japan by Rocket Company, who also publish the Medabots games.

The European version of Runabout 3D will be titled Crash City Mayhem, just like the U.S. version. Crash City Mayhem puts you in a city as a courier for a mysterious organization, and you get to drive around, wrecking things on your way as you complete missions.

These missions involve car chases, rescuing hostages, planting bombs and more. You can drive around in cars, trucks, motorcycles, and even tanks that are slow, but can fire shells. Vehicles can access different parts of the city, such as rooftops, sewers, building interiors and so on.

Ghostlight haven’t announced a release date for Crash City Mayhem yet. In North America, the game is supposed to be published by Majesco and has an ESRB rating, but no release date.
