D3 Publisher publishes Mad Tracks for Xbox Live Arcade

Mad Tracks is Load Inc’s take on the racing genre. Instead of using realistic cars or going for a kart racer (way too many of those on the market!) they have a toy car racer that reminds me of the good old days of micro machines. Each car is powered by a spring engine that flattens out when accelerating and goes back up when you slow down. Along the way players can pick up power ups that force other players springs back up or flattens theirs out. Load Inc’s concept allows them to make crazy hot wheels inspired race tracks like the one pictured above. Mad Tracks has already been released for PCs, but it’s coming to Xbox Live with multiplayer support care of D3 Publisher.
