Kadokawa released a second trailer for Date A Live Spirit Crisis, and pre-registration is currently open in Japan. The trailer is fairly short, at under a minute long. Not only does it show off the sprites of the characters as they will appear in the game, but it also teases what the gameplay will look like when it launches on October 28, 2022. Date A Live Spirit Crisis is a mobile game based on the manga and anime series.

Koushi Tachibana, the original creator of Date A Live, supervised the creation of the game’s story. As for the genre, it is a side-scrolling action-RPG. You can use characters from the show to defeat enemies as you go through the map during timed missions. Characters will all use their own unique skills that you can use to get the advantage. However, the official website for the game has yet to reveal any information on what kinds of skills each character will have.

As of the time of writing, over 600,000 people have pre-registered for the game. As the game will come out on October 28, 2022, pre-registration should close on October 25th. It reached all of its pre-registration goals, which means players will receive bonuses such as “Destiny Badges” and a commemorative CG.

Date A Live Spirit Crisis will come out in Japan on October 28, 2022 for mobile devices. There is no information yet in regards to a western localization of this game. Date A Live is available to stream on services such as Crunchyroll.
