Dead Space Floats To The iPhone And iPad

Dead Space 2 may be out on the PC/Xbox 360/PS3 this week, but Electronic Arts are also releasing an original Dead Space game for the iPhone and iPad today, which takes place three years after the events of the original Dead Space and leads into the story of its sequel.

 

EA say that Dead Space on the iPhone includes five weapons, two of which are new to the series, and is fully-voiced. A contextual in-game store (using real currency) will also allow you to upgrade these weapons, purchase new ones and unlock doors that were previously sealed.

 

Dead Space on the iPhone comes for $6.99, while its iPad counterpart will set you back $9.99. In terms of content, both games appear to be identical. Here are comparison screenshots for both versions:
