Deadly Premonition: Director’s Cut To Have Updated Controls, DLC, And More [Update]

Deadly Premonition: Directorā€™s Cut is on its way to the PlayStation 3, and Rising Star Games will be publishing the updated version of the game in both North America and Europe, a PlayStation blog post by product manager, Yen Hau, reveals.   Hauā€™s post also gives us an idea of what to expect in the updated PlayStation 3 game. As some of you may already be aware, Deadly Premonition: Directorā€™s Cut will feature additional story content in the form of a brand new story scenario by creator, Hidetaka ā€œSweryā€ Suehiro.   In addition to this, there will also be downloadable content to keep the story going after youā€™ve completed the game, updated graphics, and the Directorā€™s Cut version will also have an updated control system.   As previously detailed, Suehiro is working with Harvest Moon creator, Yasuhiro Wada, on Deadly Premonition: Directorā€™s Cut. Wada was the original gameā€™s executive producer back when he worked at Marvelous. He now runs his own company, Toybox, and is working on Project Happiness for the Nintendo 3DS.   Deadly Premonition: Directorā€™s Cut will be released in Q1 2013 in both North America and Europe.
