At gamescom 2026, Devolver Digital and Doinksoft confirmed that a “remaster” of the “classic” game starring the company mascot Volvy will launch on November 19, 2026. It’s called Volvy’s Adventure: Reslimed. A pre-order discount is in effect, knocking the normally $4.99 title down to $3.74 until launch. It will only be available on PCs via Steam.
We first learned about the mascot Volvy and his game appearances during the 2023 Devolver Digital Direct showcase. The character was introduced as a character known for his big hand. Following that showcase, we eventually saw games published by the company feature him as a guest character in some form, like Cult of the Lamb and Devolver Tumble Time.
In Volvy’s Adventure: Reslimed, warlocks took the character’s friends and slimed the word. It is up to us to fix things by going through four worlds using Volvy’s punching and stomping attacks to defeat enemies and get through obstacles.

This marks Doinksoft’s third game with Devolver Digital. The first was Gato Roboto, and that was followed by Gunbrella. All three are 2D, pixel art adventures, with the previous two both also featuring platformer elements.
Volvy’s Adventure: Reslimed will show up on PCs on November 19, 2026.
