Editor’s Note: There will be spoilers regarding Louisa and Zoe Starfield “Alternating Currents” below.

After leaving The Well and heading toward the Residential District, Zoe calls you and asks you to give her the data and cut Louisa out. She claims it will be of huge help to her and the Trade Authority. While tempting, Louisa is the one who initially requested your help, so you may feel conflicted.

I definitely did. So, after gathering the evidence from the apartment in Athena Tower, I tried out both options by reloading my save, because I wanted to make sure I was making the right decision. Luckily, there are no game-altering consequences here. It doesn’t matter if you choose Louisa or Zoe in the Alternating Currents Starfield side quest. You get the same reward either way.

Whoever you don’t pick will be angry at you, so it purely comes down to whose bad books you’d rather be in. But other than that, who you choose does not matter. I ended up sticking to my morals and handing the evidence over to Louisa.

What rewards do I get for completing the Alternating Currents side quest?

After choosing to give the evidence to either Louisa or Zoe back at the Trade Authority in The Well, the Alternating Currents side quest will end. You will receive the following rewards:

  • 75 XP.
  • 2,000 Credits.

Starfield is available to play now on the Xbox Series X and PC.
