Atelier Yumia is the latest entry to grace the franchise’s long legacy. The story follows Yumia, a young and talented alchemist who has joined the Aladiss Research team to discover the truth behind the tragic fall of the Aladission Empire. Like many other JRPGs out there, Atelier Yumia features a considerable amount of cutscenes, so it’s natural to wonder what language options are available. In this quick guide, we’ll answer whether an English Dub is available to players in Atelier Yumia.

Is Atelier Yumia Dubbed in English?
To briefly answer the question above, no English dub option is available in Atelier Yumia. It’s also worth noting that no plans are confirmed for this to change either. However, the interface is fully translated into English, and subtitles accompany the cutscenes.
Atelier Firis was the last entry in the series to feature English voice acting, which was released back in 2016. This may disappoint some players, as the Atelier series is so beloved by its fanbase, and until recent years, the titles have been accompanied by an English dub.
If you’re not a fan of reading subtitles, this could be a barrier to entry. This is a shame, as Atelier Yumia is the most newcomer-friendly entry in the series in a long while, as the gameplay mechanics are explained in a very digestible manner. However, the Japanese voice cast does a splendid job of conveying the emotions in the cutscenes, and the characters’ personalities are also portrayed well. If you are down to read subtitles, you should have a fantastic time with Atelier Yumia.
To change the language of the in-game text, head to the title screen of Atelier Yumia and go into options. From here, you will want to go to the text tab, and in this subsection, you can change the in-game text language and size of the text in the cutscenes.
Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land is now available for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
